Boat houses on Lake Starnberg (Starnberger See in German). The lake is around 40 km south of Munich, and it's home to some of Munich's rich and famous. It is one of five lakes that make up "Das Fünfseenland".


On a drab old winters day it was nice to see the bright splashes of blue on the boat houses. 

Autumn twilight on Nymphenburg canal. The canal leading up to Schloss Nymphenburg, the summer palace built for the ruling Bavarian family in 1664. Not far from where we live, its lovely to take a walk and wander through the gardens and enjoy the Baroque architecture.
