It also reminds me that I need to, everyday, just take a look around me...embrace the everyday...embrace the mundane, the little things...find the beauty in it and be grateful and be thankful for all that I have.
Then I decided to try to get away with it by telling myself I could combine my daily gratitude journal with my ''favourites'' posts...ugh!...super lazy Alison!
Mental note to self ...new year = new start = get onto that! Pronto!
Today I am also thankful that I copied my big sister's photos of her holiday here in Europe last year. At the time it was just to make sure that she had another copy somewhere just incase her copy was lost. Now I'm super, super grateful for keeping the pics because I've got a very exciting little project on the go for her 50th birthday....ooooohhhhh so exciting. I can't wait to give it to her! Love you Chris. xxoo
...and remember...embrace the every day, find the beauty in it and be thankful...

Thank you to Sarah at A Beach Cottage for Good Life Wednesday's, I'm a big fan of thinking about all the everyday little things & embracing them. It makes you stop and think about all you have and be grateful for it. Even the mundane.x

Great reminder! I have little treasures from my travels around that make me smile!
morning alison...
the sun is shinning in through our big front windows here in england...the aussie in me is pretending, with the heating cranked up, that it's almost the heat of the sun on my face that is putting me in this lovely mood...
you are so right about reminding oneself every day of the fortunate things we have in our lives...esp as families living overseas...our kids are blessed to have this experience!
thanks!!
