My girl and I had a great day out today. We headed off bright and early to the regional athletics carnival at the Sydney Academy of Sport in Narrabeen. Now, this was a very big and exciting day for us because as a family we are not exactly known for our sporting prowess. Not at all. Not in any way shape or form. No Sporty Spices in sight! So you see a big day indeed!
We had a lot of fun and although Em's team didn't make it through to the next level they still ran their little hearts out and gave it all they could. Good on you girls, fantastic job! Awesome effort : ) And for me, a great way to spend my Wednesday.
