weekend snippet

Today was one of those glorious spring days, a big blue sky, lots of sun and a little bit of a cool breeze - just perfect for a bush walk. And today was the last day that the Muogamarra National Reserve was open, which just happens to be up the road from us. So we hopped in the car bright and early and made the most of it.

Muogamarra is only open for a couple of weekends during spring to display the glorious wildflowers in the park. Matthew took loads of beautiful photos of the flowers and I'll pop those up tomorrow once he has sorted through them - he's a happy snapper and likes to take a gazillion photos of the same thing, so it will take him a while to edit!!
