a Friday flower...

These purple anemones have been little troopers this week. They were a bit poorly when I bought them, for only a couple of euros, and in all honesty I didn't expect them to last long. Just thought they would add a splash of colour to a grey and dreary week for a day or two. But...hoorah, they have lasted all week! Little beauties they are...

(I know they look a bit reddish in my photos sorry about that but they are a wonderful purple velvet colour. I'm such a bad point and shooter...I really need to do a photography course...make mental note)

 So, I'm off now to put the kettle on, sit down with a nice hot tea and make lists. Lists of things to do in our last few months here in Munich. Lists...lists...lists...winter school holidays, Paris, Villers Bretonneux, Easter, London (oh please just one more trip to my favourite city), kitchen renovations at home, schools, school uniforms, finding a place to live while we wait for our furniture....so many things to do...
