i'm in london still...
Looking towards Big Ben and Westminster, London May 2010, for the big 4 Oh birthday weekend (40, that is). I love this photo...it's one of my favourites. I love that big red bus in the centre of the photo and the rain on the window. Whenever we've been in London it has always rained!
Matthew is in London all week, lucky thing. I miss him when he's gone. I hate that thought of being on my own with the kids when he is away in a different country. It would be different if we were at 'home'. Then I wouldn't worry as much. I'd have my support network.
I never thought I'd spend so much time being a parent on my own. Some days its fun. The kids and I do our own thing, eat our favourite dinner 5 nights straight and watch a lot of Aussie TV over and over...Bondi Rescue being our favourite! But some days it's just not much fun at all.
I miss having my friends and family around to ''mull things over'' with. I'm having tween troubles at the moment. Ugh & Oh boy! I can only image what the teenage years are going to be like - one rocky roller coaster ride for sure. I'm sure I'll cope though. Just gotta hang on tight!
For Matthew...hope you are having a great week in London & don't forget to bring me back some real English Breakfast Tea : )

Beautiful photo. My mom lives just outside London. Its such a beautiful city, isnt it?
I totally know what you mean. I always have a hard time when Balazs travels for work and I stay home on my own for days:) Kisses and enjoy your evening, my dear

love this photo!! I love London too!!
I know exactly what you mean. I'm also a part-time single parent whilst my beloved is away for work. Yes somedays it is hard, even more so when you don't have friends & family around. I feel like sometimes we are just killing time until we are all together again. As for the pre-teen angst, tell me about it, I have a 13yr old & an almost 11yr old. Some days are definitly more joy-filled than others! :)
I am not a huge Bondi Rescue fan...
In fact the whole show has made me terrified to ever even GO to Bondi
Sarah, I LOVE London too!! If we had moved there for work instead of Munich, I would never come home! I was going to use this pic for Wordless Wednesday...but then I added too many words!! ; )
Ps: I’m hosting a stunning Ruche GIVEAWAY today! Hope you’ll join in :)
Kisses
Deidre,
No, don't be afraid of Bondi...what's a the odd shark or a blue bottle or 2 among friends! Only joking! Bondi is a sight to behold on a hot day in summer, isn't it! : )
