garden love

At the moment my life is all boxes, boxes, boxes and unpacking boxes and getting the house organised. So the garden hasn't even had a little look in over the past few weeks and with all the rain we've had it's becoming more of a jungle than a garden.

Today, I'm dreaming of getting out into the garden one day soon and planting some lovely bright colour for spring and summer...it's just around the corner you know. I can't wait to get some order into the garden so I can find a home for the beautiful dark pink peony Leanne gave me when mum died (one of mum's fave flowers). Love you. x

Leanne...

To my dearest and oldest (not as in you're an old bag, because I would never call you that...) friend Leanne, who is recovery from a little op today. Thinking of you. Wishing you a speedy recovery my love and if I was there, I'd pop around with a lovely bunch of natives to cheer you up and put the kettle on for a chat.

Lots of love and best wishes from me. xxoo

things that make me smile

Two friends, we've known each other since primary school, here we are at the (almost) top of the world - the Zugspitze, Germany's highest mountain. Never in our wildest dreams did we ever think that this would be something we'd be doing together at some point in our lives!! Enjoying a bevvie at the top of the world and for me, taking in some much needed vitamin D before winter sets in. Lovely, just lovely.
