I love all things Nigella, I could watch her cook all day long, she makes it look so easy. 

So today she's my Friday (Foodie) fave. 

I spotted this lovely big bowl of lemons while browsing her website for recipe ideas and decided I could do the same at my place. I've got a few lemons left on our 'lemonade' tree, so I'm off to collect them and place them in a lovely big blue bowl I have and pop them onto the sideboard in our entry...along with some freshly picked mint...a nice greeting for anyone coming through the front door, I think. 

 While I was having a browse, I've found the perfect Father's Day dinner....mmmm, yummo!

Friday faves...

One of the things that I love (love, love, love) about blogs is being transported into someone else's life at the click of a button. Just like that you can be sharing a moment with someone on the other side of the world, feeling like you are there with them in their beautifully captured images. One of my faves at the moment is popping over to Boulder, Colorado (I know, how fantastic is that) and stopping by to visit the very talented jewellery maker Alysia at Blue Hour Designs. I discovered her a while ago when I spent a morning browsing Etsy looking at rings (as you do). This is one talented lady and there are so many gorgeous items in her shop that I have been coveting. Now I just need to get myself a job so I can justify buying (more) jewellery! Or maybe just come up with a good reason why I needed to make yet another online purchase!! Oh my!!

Not only is she one very talented jewellery maker but she also takes beautiful photos too, I love just having a browse through her world - she is one clever cookie...so so jealous!!

Be still my beating heart...I've just discovered a link to an Aussie shop that sells her designs...oh my oh my oh my!!

Grey, wet and miserable here today. Great weather to be putting the wellies on and getting out in the garden while the ground in wet and soft. After being a rental property for three years, my garden is a mess (my house needs some definite TLC too, but that's another story). So my faves today are pics from Martha's gardens.

I'm hoping they will provide me with some inspiration to get out in there with the clippers and get some order back into the chaos that is my garden.

With Sydney's torrential rain (I think my house is about to float away) I am ever so grateful for my wellies and my trenchcoat...especially at school pick up time when it always seems to rain the heaviest!

my fave pics for this week are from our visit to my sister and her gorgeous little Issy (love you and love being home and knowing that I can come to visit you whenever!!). We took a wander through the Bondi Winter Alpine Festival. Having just stepped off the plane from Munich, discovering a little bit of Germany on Sydney's most famous beach was quite a surprise...Bavaria in Bondi, well I never!
